Redknee Implementing its Cloud Converged Billing Solution for U.S. MVNO

Billing and charging software provider, Redknee (News - Alert), has announced an important addition to its expanding clientele, comprising Tier-1 operators and MVNOs.
According to Redknee, Step Up Mobile, a U.S.-based mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), selected Redknee’s cloud-based converged billing and customer care solution.
Under the multi-million dollar, multi-year contract, Redknee is will provide the service as a SaaS offering to Step Up Mobile, which is soon to be launching on the Sprint (News - Alert) 3G/4G LTE networks.
Redknee's end-to-end, converged billing and customer care solution has been designed to address real-time unified billing, rating and charging for the operator's data, voice and messaging services. In addition its advanced CRM capabilities, it provides retail channel and sales enablement tools through its next-generation dealer portal and innovative self-care solutions.
Redknee's fully managed solution, complemented by 24/7 support, will allow Step Up Mobile to focus all of its efforts on sales and marketing activities, resulting in the faster acquisition of new subscribers.
Redknee will also host and manage the full infrastructure stack supporting the billing and customer care solution, reducing the service provider's capital and operational expenditure.

Redknee's CEO, Lucas Skoczkowski (News - Alert), said the contract will go a long way to expand the company’s footprint in the competitive American market.
In addition to adding to the company’s growing portfolio of customers selecting Redknee's cloud-based converged billing solution, this contract with Step Up Mobile reinforces Redknee's leadership position in the billing solutions market.
Redknee also recently announced that a leading Tier-1 national communications service provider (CSP (News - Alert)) in North America has selected Redknee's cloud-based converged billing and customer care platform. Redknee's platform will support the CSP's multi-brand strategy, including the launch of new consumer and partner brands and mobile virtual network operators (MVNO) to the market from a centralized platform.
This multi-million dollar, multi-year term license contract highlights Redknee's growing presence in Tier-1 markets due to its expertise in providing large-scale solutions in the cloud.
